Getting the Most Out of Your Treatment
So you're ready for some relaxation and rejuvenation? Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your treatment:
- If you are sensitive to scents, please advise at the time of booking. Use of candles and aromatherapy can be avoided or geared to you.
- Please dress comfortably. Loose clothing is preferable to closer fitting clothing.
- Arrive a few minutes early so you have time to feel settled.
- Feel free to tell your InnerVitality holistic health practitioner any information about your physical and emotional health you feel would be helpful. Please advise if you are pregnant, have any injuries, history of illness/hospitalization, current medications, and important information regarding changes to your health.
- Often music is played softly in the background. If you have a favourite, feel free to ask.
- It's best to remove your belt, and any jewellery or hair clips before your treatment commences.
- Some clients like to hear feedback or to chat during the treatment, and others prefer quiet. Feel free to let your InnerVitality holistic health practitioner know what suits you that day. It's your treatment.
- Blankets and pillows will be provided for your comfort.
- After your treatment, you'll further benefit from drinking plenty of water. Soaking in an epsom salts bath may also be helpful.
- Feedback is always welcome and encouraged.
*REGISTRATION AND BOOKING POLICY
TREATMENTS: Please note tax is additional, and payment is required in cash. Fees are subject to change without notice. Should you need to cancel an appointment for any reason, please provide 48 hours notice via telephone to avoid full charges and so that other clients may be accommodated ~ thanks in advance. In the event that a client is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment without notice via telephone, the appointment is considered cancelled by the client and full charges apply. If a client is late, unfortunately we cannot extend the appointment past the allotted appointment time in fairness to clients with treatments afterwards. Should InnerVitality cancel a client appointment for any reason, no payment will be required by the client. New clients will be required to fill out a confidential health history, treatment expectation and waiver form prior to treatment.
GIFT CERTIFICATES: Please note tax is additional. Gift Certificates are non-refundable, but may be exchanged for a comparable service as approved by InnerVitality. For bookkeeping purposes, Gift Certificates must be handed in at appointment time and must be used in full ~ no balance will remain after initial use. Gift Certificates expire one (1) year from date of purchase. NSF cheques are subject to a $40 administration and bank fee (per cheque) and Gift Certificates are considered void until full payment including NSF fee is received.
COURSES, RETREATS AND EVENTS: Please note tax is additional. Cash payment is required ~ though in some cases you may also pay via credit card over the phone and/or by cheque in advance (please check per course, retreat or event at the time of booking). Fees and dates are subject to change without notice. Instructors/practitioners/musicians (based on availability) and curriculum/activities (based on weather and group needs) are subject to change without notice. Please ask about our Cancellation Policy at the time of booking ~ deposits and course, retreat and event payments are non-refundable. In some cases, a minimum number of participants is required to run a course, retreat, or event. In the event that InnerVitality cancels a course, retreat, or event, no payment is required and a full refund of monies paid to InnerVitality will be given (no outside expenses incurred will be reimbursed). If a Retreat is cancelled, a minimum of 2 weeks notice will be provided; InnerVitality is not responsible for any outside expenses incurred, including travel arrangements. NSF cheques are subject to a $40 administration and bank fee (per cheque) and the participant is not considered registered/reserved until full payment including NSF fee is received. For events involving physical activity, we require a liability waiver and health information form to be filled prior to activity so we can confirm your registration and best meet your needs. For Retreats, a liability waiver, health information and dietary needs form, must be filled out so we can confirm your registration and best meet your needs on your vacation. Photographs may be taken for promotional purposes ~ your attendance confirms your agreement to have your photograph published; no names will be published without consent and you have the option to inform us at the event if you do not wish to be photographed, thank you.
